Check out Devon’s senior photos……more to come once it snows. Head over to my facebook fan page to see more.
Wow…..I don’t even know where to start this post. I have know Trevor since our sophomore year of high school, so the say we go way back is accurate. When he and Katie asked my to photograph their wedding I was both honored and really excited. I knew this was going to be a wedding to remember, and It did not disappoint. They met while in college at IU, so naturally that’s where they had the wedding….the same weekend as IU’s homecoming….busy weekend. I arrived Friday afternoon, and attended the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner and shot both events. Saturday morning started with photos of the Trevor and his groomsmen getting ready at has parents house in Bloomfield (where the wedding was to be held) and them I moved on down the road to his aunts house to get some photos of all the girls getting ready.
Then it was off to the church where Katie and Trevor would get married. I thought it was really neat that they were getting married at the same church, and by the same minister, that married Trevor’s parents many years earlier. I love personal details like that, where a couple really take their wedding day and make it theirs…and this day was full of them!
After the wedding we all loaded up onto a party bus and headed towards Bloomington, but we had a few stops on the way for photos. The first was along the side of the road. There was this old Ford Falcon that along with the fall leaves made a perfect spot for a few images.
Then we headed to IU’s campus for a few shots in various locations.
After shooting on campus for a while, we had some time to kill before the reception was to start….so the only logical option was to head to Trevor & Katie’s favorite bar from their time on campus for some shots. So it was off to the Alley Bar, where they were very gracious and allowed all 20 of us to pretty much do what ever we wanted!
I love capturing these special moments when they think no one is watching!
After a couple pitchers at the Alley Bar it was off to the Reception at the Bloomignton Country Club. This was one of the best receptions I have ever had the pleasure to photograph. The dance floor was constantly in use and all the guests were fantastic!
Random photos from the rest of the evening.
Wow…..there are so many cool details that I am not even talking about here…..so many great photos that I am not sharing here…just not enough time or space….This was a weekend to remember for sure. Seeing so many people come together from all over to support Katie and Trevor was awesome. I really makes me feel good to be able to provide them a few images to remember the weekend with. To see a few more images head on over to my Facebook Fan page! Congrats Katie & Trevor!
Wednesday evening I met up with Nate and his mom at Washington Township park here in Avon to shoot some of his senior pictures. We got a ton of great shots, and I would like to share some of them with you. Hope you enjoy, and don’t forget to head over to my facebook fan page to see more!
Sunday evening I met up with Lana at the Indianapolis Art center to shoot a few photos for her. She is one of my models from Avon High School, so if you know her she can definitely hook you up with a deal on your senior photos. We started off walking around the grounds at the art center, then headed down into Broadripple for a few photos. Hope you enjoy, and as always head over to my facebook fan page to see some more…perhaps you will even “like” it?
Favorite image of the set
Saturday I had the pleasure of meeting back up with Ashley, one of my senior models from Plainfield. We shot a few images along the trail system right there running through Plainfield. I really like how these images turned out (I might be biased though), the light that evening was fantastic. Anyway…if you know Ashley, she can definitely hook you up with a deal on your senior portraits. You can also check out some of the images from her first session here.
As always, head on over to my facebook fan page to check out some more, and perhaps you will even ‘like’ it and leave me a comment…perhaps.
