Last week my brother, his wife, and my niece Savannah came out to Washington Township park in Avon for some 1 year old portraits of Savannah. Its hard to believe the last time I photographed her, she was only 4 months old!  Crazy how time flies and how much she has grown in that time frame.   We all had a great time watching all the expressions and smiles she would give us.  She was really easy to photography too, she just sat (for the most part) where ever we wanted and made my life really easy.  Such an easy going kid!  On to the photos, more on my facebook fan page too, don’t forget to like my page!

I am so excited to share with you Connie & Jeremy’s wedding that took place on August 4th 2012.  Our day got started early in the morning with the girls getting ready at Union Station in downtown Indianapolis.  I always love starting the photography in the morning with the getting ready shots, it makes the storytelling aspect of photography come together.  After everyone had their hair and makeup done, dresses/suits on we all headed over to Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Indianapolis’ south side for the ceremony.  This church is my top 5 ceremony locations that I have ever photographed in, such a long isle, beautiful architecture,  and great light!  After the I Do’s were said, we all loaded up on a party bus and headed around the city for some great portraits.  We stopped at monument circle and the canal in Indianapolis and had a blast with the bridal party.  The reception was held in the Illinois Street ballroom at Union Station in Indianapolis.  Such a great location, the room was decorated beauitefuly, and all the uplighting really made the room look great!  I hope you guys enjoy the slideshow below, and make sure you check out my facebook fan page!

Ann and I met up with Lilly and her parents yesterday for some portraits at the studio.  We had originally planned an outdoor session, but the crazy all day rain ended that option.  That’s what the studio is there for though!  We had a blast shooting some portraits of Lilly, she has such a bright personality, hopefully it comes across in the photos.  Shooting portraits of kids is a blast for us, the sessions are always so fast paced and totally different than other types of sessions, it really keeps us on our toes!  More over on my Facebook  fan page, and dont forget to give it a like!
