Caught a quick image of Oscar, my Australian Shepherd, actually sitting quiet and still today while I was playing around with a photo technique called freelensing. I haven’t experimented much with this technique before, but one of my goals for this year was to experiment more and get outside of the proverbial safe box, so hopefully you will be seeing more of this type of stuff from me this year! Also, I could not decide what edit I liked more, the color or b/w, so you get to see both!
Winter blues are starting to kick in and I need to get out of the house! Lets hang out together and I will take your photo, indoors or out! Book a portrait session (Seniors, Kids, Family, baby’s or?) in the month of February and receive a sweet deal, $25 off the session fee plus receive a %20 off coupon code towards your print or disc purchase! That right there is a sweet deal! Hurry and contact me to schedule your session, only 28 days in February and only so many sessions I can shoot! We could do a studio session at my Stutz building portrait studio in downtown Indianapolis, we could go to your favorite outdoor park, or both, just contact me to start working out the details!
Ann and I braved the cold weather on MLK day to head down to the studio to play in the studio for awhile. We didn’t have any sessions scheduled, but we just wanted to do some shooting for the fun of it. Sometimes its good to get out and shoot just for me, keeps me fresh and excited about photography, especially this time of year when its cold and yucky out and I don’t want to leave the couch 🙂 I had some new lighting equipment that I wanted to try out in the studio as well, so we had lots to do to keep us occupied in the studio for the day. Below are a few pictures of me, there are some of me floating around on my hard drive, but I don’t like pictures of me, so they may just stay there unless Ann can figure out how to post them. Oh…be sure to like my Facebook Fan Page, as I will be posting a February Portrait sale in the next couple days as well. And as always, contact me if you want to schedule your very own portrait session!
Meet the Page family! They came down to our Indianapolis studio a few months ago to get some updated Family Portrait’s.
I can finally show you some photos and some of the spreads from Michael and Rachel’s wedding this past spring. They had a set of identical 4×4 albums made for their parents as Christmas gifts, so I have had to sit on their design and these photos for a while so I didn’t ruin the surprise. Their main album is the leather 10×10 in black, they also chose black for their 4×4 parent albums. I love the feel of the leather and the thicker pages that it offers in comparison to the linen cover albums. Interested in more info about my wedding albums? This page should tell you all you need to know as well as having lots of sample images.
