The past two Saturday mornings I had the pleasure of sitting in on the new Indy Photo Coach class at the Indianapolis Zoo. I am one of Indy Photo Coach’s regular instructors, but just not for the zoo class. The class was taught by Jackie Curts, a zoo keeper and photographer. I had a great time trying to get the best images possible and helping others get the images they were after too. I like to shoot things like this when I have some free time. It keeps my skills sharp and helps remind me why I love photography. Nothing feels better than checking out the screen on the back of your camera and seeing that you nailed the image you were after, no matter what the subject.
My new website is finally coming along nicely, I think I have it close to where I like it, but there are still lots of tweaks going on behind the scenes. This is where you come in, I need to know what my website looks like from your perspective. What do you like about it, What don’t you like about it, why? Is something not working properly? Please let me know all these things! Either leave a comment here at the blog, over on my facebook fan page, or you can use the contact form to get ahold of me. Anyone who leaves me a critique of my website will get a discount on a portrait session to be used this spring!
My little niece came over last night for some photos, she is about 4mo old now. We all had a blast watching the many faces of Savannah. Here are a few of my favorites, I am a fan of the simple white on white just letting all her personality shine! As always, more on my Facebook Fan Page!
On the last weekend of 2011 Ann and I had the pleasure to photograph Joe and Amanda’s wedding in Laporte Indiana. They held both the wedding and reception at a great venue, The Alure. I was definitely one of my favorite venues that I have shot at, I just wish it was closer so I could get the chance to shoot there again! Amanda and Joe planned a great wedding with lots of personal touches to make their wedding day special. They were so natural and relaxed in front of the camera, and that made out job easy! The Allure had plenty of great spaces for us to use to create some really special images. I hop you guys cherish your wedding images for years to come!
So, I am not to internet savy, the goal was to build this new site whily my old site was still up and operational, I however am no good at interent things and killed my old site while trying to start this site, so if for any reason you need to get ahold of me for wedding photography info, or senior portrait info, email or call me (317-847-5388 or allison.dustin@gmail.com) A sample of portfolio images can be seen over on my facebook fan page in the meantime.
