So Wed of this past week I was supposed to shoot some engagement photos for Katie & Trevor, but Wed was the hottest day of the year, so we had to push them back one day, or we all would have all been really sweaty.  Thanks guys for being so accommodating about the weather!  So….on to Katie and Trevor…..I have know Trevor since somewhere around our sophomore year of High school, so its really a great pleasure when Trevor and Katie asked me to shoot their engagement and wedding photos.  I cant wait for their wedding in October down in Bloomington…..it should be intense!  On to the photos, and as always more will be posted on my facebook fan page!

This past Saturday, Brandon and Jessica were wed at the Holiday Inn North here in Indianapolis, and I had the pleasure to photograph the day for them.  The day started out with hair and make-up in one of the hotel rooms, then portraits of each group, then the wedding festivities…..and then the reception!  It was a fantastic day, enjoy the photos!  To see more images from this event please head over to my facebook fan page, and don’t forget to “like” my page!

So I recently headed down to Trafalger to shoot Nicks senior portraits.  His family has a bunch of land out there that made for some great shots, and I loved his idea of dragging his drum set into the woods.  Thanks again Nick!

 

 

 

 

So I have photographed seniors, with dogs, cats, and horses…but this was my first snake…Nicks ball python Bubbles!

Saturday evening I met up with Andrea & Michael plus their six year old son at the IMA for some engagement photos.  We had a blast walking around the grounds of the IMA taking photos.

Friday I met up with Ashley and her mom at the horse barn in Plainfield where they keep Ashley’s horse to shoot some images of her!  I love using unique locations like this, as I feel it really adds a level of personal value to the images.  Hope you like!

Sunday I had the pleasure of shooting some Engagement photos for Jessica and Owen.  We went to the IMA (one of my favorite places to shoot) and walked around for a while until storms rolled in.  I cant wait for the wedding in January, it should be a great time!  On to the photos!

 

 

 

The nest two photos are really unique.  Jessica and Owen apparently have a thing for the movie UP, and wanted to incorporate that into their engagement photos, so they brought along the following props. 

 

 

I LOVE it when a couple tried to bring their personalities into their photo session like this, the results are always outstanding!

 

Little side note about the balloons….. One the way back to the car, Owen gave all 20 balloons to a little kid…his parents were thrilled…and the best part is we later saw them driving away in a convertible!  Too funny

This past weekend was a busy one here in Indianapolis, not only was there a little race going on, but there was a wedding!  Saturday evening Julie and got married at the Rathskeller Resturant in downtown Indianapolis.  I loved shooting all the images there, the upstairs rooms made for a great setting for all the portraits of the couple.  After the ceremony was over the Rathskeller provided a great meal for everyone and a super atmosphere for the reception.  Less talking, on with the images!
