Wow! 2014 was a great year for several reasons, Dustin Allison Photography was asked to photograph several weddings and portrait all around the state, we made many new friends! If you look at the dates from the last time I updated my blog, you will see that I haven really been the best at posting what we have been up to, so here we go, get ready for a big ole mega post about some of the great portraits and Weddings that Ann and I had the pleasure of photographing this year!
Lets start off with some portraits from this past year. We photographed lots of little ones this year, and it was alot of fun seeing all these cute kids in the studio and outside hamming it up for my camera.
Now for some weddings! First up is Angie and Adam, who were married back in May at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Indianapolis.
Next us is Ashley and Jay, who were married at Anderson Orchard in Moorseville. Such a pretty location that made for some great photos!
Cathy and Jamie were married in Hawaii (and didnt take me) but they did have Ann and I shoot their reception at the Milltop in Noblesville! It was a great party!
Josh and Stacie were married on Stacie’s parents property in Bargersville, it was a really cool rustic barn wedding and all the cool decorations were created by Stacie and her mom.
Kirby and Mark were married in September and had a great downtown Indianapolis wedding reception at the Rathskeller!
Megan and Drew had a small wedding on their property in Lapel in early October. It was absolutely freezing, yet everyone had a great time
Overall 2014 was a great year for Dustin Allison Photography, I hope you enjoyed looking at our Indianapolis Portrait & Wedding Photography Review.
Have I photographed your wedding? How about a senior, family, or newborn session? If you would be so kind as to leave me a review in online so others can know how awesome you thought Ann and I were that would be outstanding.
Our Google+ page would be outstanding (you got to have a Google+ account, but they are super easy and pretty cool!
Our OneWed profile would be cool too!
Our Facebook Fan Page is also great!
Indianapolis Photographer Reviews
Fall in Indiana can be so weird. If you were around on October 30th you most likely saw all the fog that covered the area pretty much all day. For some reason I am really drawn to fog, and I never seem to get the opportunity to shoot any photos in it. Usually the fog is burnt off by the time I get home from my teaching job, but not earlier this week! While the fog was starting to lift, there was still plenty to get in some great landscape images at the local park. When I got home from school, I only had a short time before I had to be back at school for an event that night, so I grabbed my trusty hiking partner Oscar and we headed down the road to Washington Township Park in Avon, which connects to our neighborhood via a walking path. We seem to spend alot of time hiking and running the trails and paths in the park, so I had a pretty good idea where I wanted to go and shoot some photos. Oscar and I spent about an hour and a half walking around the park shooting photos and smelling all the smells (Oscar, not me)
A few weeks ago I had a group of 4 cousins in the studio for some photos, all of them under 2 years old. What resulted was a loud, constantly moving blast of a photo shoot. Trying to get everyone happy, sitting in the right spot, and looking at the camera at the same time proved to be rather difficult, but we did get lots of great photos of everyone!

Meet Lilly, who recently turned 3 years old. You may remember her from her second birthday session last summer, well, shes back! We met up with Lilly and her parents up at Cool Creek Park in Carmel Indiana. We chased the very active 3 year old all over the park getting all sorts of fun family photos as Lilly interacted with all the great areas of the park!
