A few weeks ago I had a group of 4 cousins in the studio for some photos, all of them under 2 years old. What resulted was a loud, constantly moving blast of a photo shoot. Trying to get everyone happy, sitting in the right spot, and looking at the camera at the same time proved to be rather difficult, but we did get lots of great photos of everyone!

Meet Carson, an Indianapolis area high school senior, who didn’t want traditional senior photos, instead she wanted a Headshot Session. Carson is an aspiring actor and wanted some nice headshots to use when applying to theater school this fall. We met up at my studio in downtown Indianapolis and had a great time shooting several looks.

Baby Amelia brought her parents into the studio a few weeks ago for their first family photo session. A good time was had by all. Congrats Jimmy and Hanna!
Meet Baby Juliana. She came into the studio with her parents on Friday for some newborn photos. If you haven’t noticed yet from my other newborn posts, I have a style that I refer to as Natural Newborn Photos. I don’t fold kids like Origami, or rely on lots of knit props in my sessions. I like to see the newborns just as they are….natural. Enough of me on a soapbox…time for some cute photos of baby Juliana. She was a handful, really wasn’t happy unless she was being held, but we did find a fuzzy white blanket that she seemed to enjoy quite a bit, eventually we all overcame her fussiness and captured some great photos!
Meet Chris, a high school senior from the Indiana Academy High School at Ball State University. He came to the studio back in March for some senior pictures, we also braved some of the brisk (nice word for really cold) weather to shoot a few images on the canal in downtown Indianapolis, that is conveniently right across the street from my Stutz building studio space!
